Install three plugs (29) .

Install three bungs (11) .

Apply Tooling (P) to the inside and the outside diameters of collet (13).
Install collet (13) .
Repeat Step 34 through Step 37 for the collet on the other side.

Apply Tooling (P) to the threads of bolt (10) .
Install bolt (10) .Note: The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other when the bolt and nut are tight.
Tighten bolt (10) to a torque of 1350 175 N m (1000 130 lb ft). After the bolt is tight, hit the collet on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolt is less than 680 N m (500 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (10) again to torque of 1350 175 N m (1000 130 lb ft). Hit each collet again until the torque on the bolt is less than 1020 N m (750 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (10) to a final torque of 1350 175 N m (1000 130 lb ft).Note: At the end of 50 service hours, repeat Step 41 through Step 43.
Repeat Step 28 through Step 43 for the pin assembly on the other side.
Start the engine.
Remove the bucket control safety pins. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket Control Safety Pins - Remove and Install".
Lower the lift arms.

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (7). The weight of tilt cylinder (7) is approximately 620 kg (1366 lb). Align the bores of the of tilt cylinder (7) and the tilt lever.
Stop the engine.
Attach a suitable lifting device to pin (9). The weight of pin (9) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).
Install pin (9) and the shims.

Apply Tooling (P) to the inside and outside diameters of collet (8).
Install collet (8) .

Install three plugs (5) .
Repeat Step 52 through Step 54 for the collet on the other side.
Apply Tooling (P) to the threads of bolt.
Install bolt (6), the nut and the washers.Note: The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other collet when the bolt and nut are tight.
Tighten bolt (6) and the nut to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 145 lb ft). After the bolt and nut are tight, hit the collets on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolt and the nut is less than 950 N m (700 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (6) and the nut again to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 145 lb ft). Hit each collet again until the torque for the bolt and the nut is less than 1600 N m (1180 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (6) and the nut to a final torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 145 lb ft).Note: At the end of 50 service hours, repeat Step 58 through Step 60.

Connect hose assembly (4) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to guard (1). The weight of guard (1) is approximately 30 kg
