Walk - Around Inspection
Inspect Machine
For operator personal safety and maximum service life of the machine, make a thorough walkaround inspection before mounting the machine or starting the engine.Look around and under the machine for such items as loose or missing bolts, trash buildup, oil, or fuel leaks. Inspect the condition of the scrapers.Remove any trash and debris. Have any necessary repairs made, loose connections or parts tightened and any missing parts replaced before starting the engine. 1 - Inspect lights for broken bulbs and lenses.2 - Inspect the rubber isolation blocks, between the vibratory drum and the machine frame for damage, cracking or splitting.3 - Inspect front and rear scrapers. 4 - Inspect turbine protector guard for trash buildup.5 - Inspect steps and handholds, their condition and cleanliness. Inspect the Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) for damage. 6 - Inspect engine precleaner for dirt buildup.7 - Inspect engine compartment for leaks and trash buildup.8 - Inspect hydraulic system for leaks. 9 - Be sure covers and guards are firmly in place. Inspect for damage.10 - Inspect tires rear for damage and proper inflation. 11 - Inspect operator's compartment for cleanliness.12 - Inspect instrument panel for broken gauges and indicator lights.Vibrator Bearings
Lubricate
Lubricate two grease fittings per vibrator one on each side of the drums.Engine Crankcase
Measure Oil Level
1 - Measure oil level with the machine level. Apply the parking brake. 2 - The level must be measured with the engine stopped.The oil level should be at the upper mark on the dipstick. 3 - If it is necessary to add oil, remove the engine oil filler cap.4 - Add oil to the correct level. 5 - Inspect the cap seal. Replace the seal, if it is damaged. 6 - Install the oil filler cap.Hydraulic Tank
Check Oil Level
Check the hydraulic oil level, the floating pin of the gauge should be 20 mm (.78 inch) minimum above the cap level. 1 - If it is necessary to add oil, remove the hydraulic tank cap slowly to relieve any pressure. Bring the oil level so that the pin reaches about 20 mm (.78 inch) above the cap level. 2 - Inspect the hydraulic tank cap gasket. Replace the gasket, if it is damaged.3 - Install the hydraulic tank cap.Fuel Tank
Filling Up
Escaping fuel is flammable. Do not smoke while draining water and sediment from the fuel tank.
1 - Remove the tank cap and check the filling screen. 2 - Fill the tank and replace the cap.Water Tank (Sprinkling)
Cleaning
1 - Shut the circuit valve situated under the water tank damaged. 2 - Remove the filter bowl and the screen. Clean with water or compressed air. Reinstall screen and filter bowl. 3 - Clean the filling cap and fill tank with water.Indicators And Gauges
Test and Inspect
Inspect all gauges for broken lenses or indicators. Have any needed repairs made.
