Disconnect reverse balance line (18). Use Tool (H) to cap the port. Use Tool (J) to plug the hose.

Disconnect forward balance line (19). Use Tool (H) to cap the port. Use Tool (J) to plug the hose.
Assemble two sets of Tool (A) through Tool (E).

Connect one Tool (A) to port "M2" (20) .

Connect second Tool (A) to port "M1" (21).
Assemble Tool (F) .
Assemble Tool (G) .
Connect Tool (F) to Tool (G) .

Remove the cap from charge pressure tap (22) on the left material feed pump. Connect Tool (G) to the charge pressure tap.
Move engine start switch (10) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes.
Move throttle control switch (9) to the HIGH IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on the monitor display. Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 5.6 °C (110 10 °F).
Record the pressure at charge pressure tap (22).
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Note: The travel mode switch must be in the TRAVEL position during this test. If the travel mode switch is in the PAVE position, the machine may drive through the parking brake. Note: If the machine moves at any time during this test, immediately move the propel lever back to the NEUTRAL position. Stop the machine and repair the parking brakes before this test is continued and/or before the machine is placed back into service.
Move parking brake switch (4) to the OFF position.
Rotate propel speed dial (2) to 50 percent of the MAXIMUM position.
Move propel lever (1) to the FULL FORWARD position.
Record the pressure at port "M1" (21) .
Subtract the pressure that was recorded in Step 32 from the pressure that was recorded in Step 36. The pressure differential should be 41990 1380 kPa (6090 200 psi).
Move propel lever (1) back to the NEUTRAL position.
Move propel lever (1) to the FULL REVERSE position.
Record the pressure at port "M2" (20) .
Subtract the pressure that was recorded in Step 32 from the pressure that was recorded in Step 40. The pressure differential should be 41990 1380 kPa (6090 200 psi).
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Rotate propel speed dial (2) back to the MINIMUM position.
Move parking brake switch (4) to the ON position.
Move throttle control switch (9) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (10) to the OFF position.
