This test will determine if the pressure control valve is operating correctly.
This test will determine if the setting of the pressure control valve is correct.Procedure

Right Side of the Scraper Transmission (1) Plug for the rotary selector spool
Remove plug (1) from the right side of the scraper transmission case in order to access the rotary selector spool.

Remove small cover (2) from the top of the scraper transmission control.

Remove the plug from pressure tap (3) . Install Tool (B) into pressure tap (3) . Attach Tool (C) to Tool (B) .
Remove the plug from pressure tap (4) . Install Tool (B) into pressure tap (4) . Attach Tool (C) to Tool (B) .
Connect Tool (A) to pressure tap (3) and pressure tap (4) .
Start the engines and run the engines at LOW IDLE rpm in the NEUTRAL position.
The pressure on the digital pressure indicator at pressure tap (3) must read 517 14 kPa (75 2 psi). The pressure on the digital pressure indicator at pressure tap (4) must read 0 kPa (0 psi).
Make sure that the air pressure is at the correct system pressure. Push down on the service brake pedal. Hold the service brake pedal down. Make sure that the parking brake is released.
Move the rotary selector spool to any speed position. Keep the engines at LOW IDLE rpm.
The pressure on the digital pressure indicator at pressure tap (3) must read a minimum of 1862 kPa (270 psi). The pressure on the digital pressure indicator at pressure tap (4) must read a minimum of 1524 kPa (221 psi).
Slowly increase the scraper engine to HIGH IDLE rpm.Note: The machine will try to move during this step.
The pressure on the digital pressure indicator at pressure tap (3) must read a minimum of 2151 103 kPa (312 15 psi). The pressure on the digital pressure indicator at pressure tap (4) must read a minimum of 1813 103 kPa (263 15 psi).
When the test is complete, place the rotary selector spool into the NEUTRAL position. Turn on the parking brakes. Shut down the engines. Remove the test equipment from the machine. Replace the small cover on the transmission hydraulic controls.Results
