Assembly Procedure

If necessary, install the backup ring and the O-ring seal on brake pistons (9) . Install brake pistons (9) in the brake caliper.

Install brake linings (8) and screws (7) . Hold brake linings (8) by hand while tightening screws (7) .

Install washers (6) on spring retaining cap (4) .

Install spring retaining cap (4) .Note: Preset spring retaining caps by screwing until the caps are 1.25 mm (0.051 inch) above caliper housings.
Install plate (5) and screws (3) .

Reposition brake calipers (2) , as shown.
Connect hose assemblies (1) .End By: Install the rotor brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotor Brake - Install".
