The programmable options are accessible through the LCD and the keypad. See illustration 1. The illustration shows the time and the date. The time and the date will not be shown on all units. Only the units with the C/D plant exerciser option will show the time and the date.

(1) Access codeIn order to become familiar with the options that are loaded into a particular unit, scroll through the "SET" and "CNFG" menus. These menus will show the descriptions of the options. These menus are used to access the settings and/or the configuration of the programmable options. The "SET" menu is primarily used to change the settings for the timers and the voltage monitoring. The "CNFG" menu is used to turn on an option or the "CNFG" menu is used to turn off an option. When you scroll through these menus, no changes can be made until you enter an access code (1). The access code is a six digit code that is set by the factory. The access code is located on a white label on the back of the unit. See illustration 2.The MX200 has many logic options. Each controller is downloaded with options at the time of manufacture. When you order a Caterpillar transfer switch, the options for the controller will be determined. The following lists include all the options that can reside in the controller. Not all of the units include all of the options."SET" Menu
