This is a 1.0-hour job
If no doors are replaced, 1 hour is allowed for inspection.
For 1 door replaced the labor is 5 hours total, 1 hour for inspection, and an additional 4 hours to replace the door.
If both the left and right side doors are replaced the labor is 9 hours, 1 hour for inspection and an additional 8 hours to replace the doors.
Be sure to record and report the deflection of the doors in the Service Report.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
PROCEDURE TO INSPECT CAB DOORS FOR POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT
1. Open the right hand door of the cab and carefully pull back the door seal in the upper corner of the door. Tape a wood block in the upper corner of the cab frame so the wood block rests on the steel frame of the cab. See Image 1.1.1.

2. Remove door handle on the door and gently move door toward the closed position against the wood block.
3. If a force gauge is available, proceed to the next step. If a force gauge is not available, go to step 7.
4. Using a force gauge, apply 222 N (50 pounds) of force to the bottom handle mounting hole on the door and measure the door deflection at the bottom edge of the door to the cab frame. See Images 1.2.1 and 1.2.2.

5. If the measured door defection with the force of 222 N (50 pounds) is 25.4mm (1 inch) or greater, this door will need to be replaced. If the defection is less than 25.4mm (1 inch), the door is good and does not need to be replaced. Reinstall the door handle, remove the wood block, and place the door seal back in place.
6. Repeat this same process above for the left hand cab door. If either door needs to be replaced, proceed to step 10. If the doors do not need to be replaced, the work is complete and the machine can go back in service.
MEASURING DOOR DEFLECTION WITHOUT A FORCE GAUGE
7. Use a 099-3649 Bolt (40mm (1 9/16 inch) long) placed inside a 129-6731 Spring. When pushing on the bolt and the spring compresses to the length of the bolt, a 222 N (50 pounds) force is applied. See Image 1.3.1.

8. With the bolt inside the spring, apply force until the bolt inside the spring contacts the door at the bottom handle mounting hole on the door. Measure the door deflection at the bottom edge of the door to the cab frame. See Images 1.4.1 and
1.4.2.
