This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3743" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3743" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The air cleaner outlet cover assembly may fail allowing unfiltered air to enter the engine intake manifold on certain 918F, 928F and 953B Loaders and IT18F and IT28F Tool Carriers.

Inspect the air cleaner assembly on the outlet side of the canister. If the canister has four strip welds or a continuous weld around the area shown in the Illustration below, no further action is necessary. Complete a SIMS ticket for the machine listing PI3743 as the Part Number Causing Failure, and put "Air Cleaner is OK" in the Comment section.
If the canister is not welded as shown below, replace the air cleaner with the appropriate new air cleaner.
