New 488-5947 Machine Software Gp is required for compatibility with rear attachment implement functions.
The machine ECM communicates the correct rear attachment configuration map to the implement ECM.
Incorrect version of machine software may not provide the correct implement functions for the following rear attachment configurations :
Winch
Winch + fourth function
Winch Pump
Winch Pump + fourth function
Ripper + Winch Pump
Incorrect version of machine software may also result in an (Unexpected Winch Motor Pressure Detected) event, EID 597.Improve the Engine Cooling Fan (Demand Fan) solenoid diagnostic strategy.
Improve the activation logic of the CID 291 (Engine Cooling Fan Solenoid), diagnostic codes to allow time for the Machine/Implement ECM communications to initialize before a diagnostic fault is performed.
CID 291 (Engine Cooling Fan Solenoid), diagnostic codes were occurring when the rear attachment was configured as winch or winch pump configurations.The new 488-5947 Machine Software Gp are adaptable to machines and effective in production with machines that are listed in Table .
