Remove the rear access panel from the MMU cabinet.Transformer T1 and T2 will be located on the left panel in the top left corner of the MMU cabinet. If rear access is not available, the transformers can be accessed through the access plate that is located on the top of the MMU, prior to installation of the wireway. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8145, "Electrical Connections". If the rear or the top access is not available, the transformer taps can be changed from the front of the unit, but the difficulty of the process is greatly increased.

Determine the voltage setting that is required by your system. Refer to Illustration 2.The following list is the default voltage tap settings for the transformer from the factory:
400 VAC at 50 Hz
480 VAC at 60 HzNote: Different transformers are used interchangeably in the UPS. Refer to Illustrations 3 through 5 in order to verify the tap positions for the transformers that are being serviced in the UPS.
On transformer T1, disconnect the brown wire T1 H5. Attach the wire to the transformer tap that is for the correct voltage. Tighten the screw. Refer to Illustration 3.
On transformer T2, disconnect the yellow wire T2 H5. Attach the wire to the transformer tap that is for the correct voltage. Tighten the screw. Refer to Illustration 3.
Replace the access panel on the MMU cabinet.Perform steps 3, 4, and 5 for each additional Multiple Module Unit in your system.

Open the access doors on the front of the System cabinet.Transformers T1, T2, and T3 will be located on the left panel. Refer to Illustration 1.
On transformer T1, disconnect the orange wire T1 H5. Attach the wire to the transformer tap that is for the correct voltage. Tighten the screw. Refer to Illustration 3.
On transformer T2, disconnect the brown wire T2 H5. Attach the wire to the transformer tap that is for the correct voltage. Tighten the screw. Refer to Illustration 3.
On transformer T3, disconnect the brown wire T3 H5. Attach the wire to the transformer tap that is for the correct voltage. Tighten the screw. Refer to Illustration 3.The configuration of the transformer taps is complete.Transformer in the Input/Output Cabinet T1
