Raise the temperature of bearing cones (25) and install bearing cones (25) to both sides of pinion gear (24).

Lower the temperature of bearing cup and install bearing cup (23).

Install cage (21), shims (22), and bolts (20). Install shims (22) to obtain 0.10 0.08 mm (0.004 0.003 inch) end play. Use Tooling (R) to measure end play.

Install ring (19). Install O-ring seal (18) on the piston (17).

Install piston (17) into cylinder (11). Install washer (16).

Install washer (15) to clutch jaw (12).

Support clutch jaw (12) with suitable cribbing. Install clutch jaw (12) to cylinder (11). Install spacer (14). Use Tooling (B) to install retaining ring (13).

Position housing (6) onto cylinder (7). Install bolts (5).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to differential lock assembly (3). The weight of differential lock assembly (3) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb). Position differential lock assembly (3). Tighten bolts (4).

Connect clip (2). Install hose assembly (1).End By:
Connect the differential and bevel gear to the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission to Differential - Connect".
