Change Oil/Clean Inlet Screen
1. Remove oil drain plug (1) and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container of sufficient size. An oil sample for S O S (Scheduled Oil Sampling) analysis should be obtained from the drain stream at this time. Take the sample after some oil has drained out and before the final drain oil.2. Remove three attaching bolts (2) from pump inlet screen end cover (3).3. Pull end cover down until it is free of coupler (4).4. Remove suction screen (5) by turning the screen counterclockwise.5. Clean the pump area.6. Clean the suction screen by washing it in solvent. Inspect the suction screen and all O-rings. Replace the O-rings if they are damaged. 7. Install suction screen (5). Turn the screen clockwise until it is hand tight. Turn the screen an additional 1/4 turn. Do not over tighten.8. Install O-ring (6) on the housing. Lubricate the O-ring with oil.9. Lubricate the exposed O-ring on the coupler (4).10. Install end cover (3). Use care not to damage the O-rings.11. Install the attaching bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 N m (41 lb ft).12. Clean drain plug (1). Install the plug.13. Refill system with the proper type and amount of oil. See the Lubricant Specifications topic to determine oil type, and the Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities topic for the amount of oil needed.14. Run the engine. Operate the hydraulic system. Fully raise the three-point linkage.15. After the engine has been stopped for at least five minutes, check the oil level on the hydraulic oil dipstick. Add oil as necessary to bring the oil level to the FULL mark. Fuel Filter
Replace Primary Filter
1. Raise the hood. Engage the hood support latch.2. Shut off fuel supply valve (1) and fuel return valve (2) by rotating each handle fully clockwise.3. Loosen collar (5) 1/4 turn to release element (4).4. Remove water collection bowl (3) by unscrewing it from the element.5. Clean the collection bowl. Install the bowl on the new element.6. Install the new element onto the mounting base. Tighten collar (5).7. Open fuel supply valve (1) and fuel return valve (2).8. Prime the fuel system by using the procedure in the topic Fuel Filter under the Maintenance - Every 250 Hours.
Do not fill the fuel filter with fuel before installing it. The fuel is not filtered and could be contaminated. Contaminated fuel causes accelerated wear to fuel system parts.
Transmission Clutch Calibration
Recalibrate
The transmission has three directional clutches. Calibrate the clutches after the initial 50 service hours to compensate for wear due to break-in. The clutches should be recalibrated every 1000 hours or more frequently if a deterioration in shift quality is noted.Refer to the Maintenance - Every 50 Hours topic for the procedure to recalibrate the transmission clutches.Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS)
Retighten Bolts
Front bolts (1) are located on each side of the front of the cab. The bolts can be accessed under the floor mat. Rear bolts (2) are located at the left and right
