Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove".
Remove the pump drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove bolts (1) and remove plate (2) .

Remove belt (3). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace" for the correct procedure.
Remove bolts (4) and remove yoke (5) .

Remove bolts (6). Remove adapter (7), pulley (8), and damper (9) .

Note: The muffler was removed for clarity.
Attach a suitable lifting device to plate (10). Apply enough tension in order to support the front of the engine.

Remove bolts (11). Remove bolts (12). Remove engine support (front) (13) .Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install engine support (front) (13). Install bolts (12). Install bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 120 20 N m (89 15 lb ft).

Remove the suitable lifting device from plate (10) .

Install damper (9), pulley (8), and adapter (7). Install bolts (6) .

Install belt (3). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace" for the correct procedure.
Install yoke (5) and install bolts (4) .

Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Install".
