The following procedure is used in order to test the torque converter stall test.The torque converter stall test helps determine if the engine is producing the correct power output. The torque converter stall test provides an engine speed for comparison with the torque converter stall speed that is measured at the factory. The engine stall speed should be in the range that is shown.The parking brake must be applied when the tests are performed. Make sure that the parking brake is fully operational before you perform any tests.The service brakes must be applied when the tests are performed. Make sure that the service brakes are fully operational before you perform any tests.Test Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from any machines that are working and any personnel.
Move the transmission control to the P position.Test Procedure
Start the machine and run the machine at low idle.

From the main menu in Advisor, enable the "Service Mode".

From the "Service" section, select "System Tests" and then "Stall Test". Select "OK" to enter the transmission stall test.Start the stall test.Check the pressures for the torque converter outlet.
Do not keep the torque converter in a stall condition for long periods of time. Damage could occur in the torque converter, the engine, and the brakes.
When this test is complete, stop the engine. Remove the test equipment.
