To reduce the number of occurrences of the Input and Output Speed Sensor Diagnostics, the software logic implemented on G Series SOHT is now used on F Series SOHT.
To improve the lockup clutch engagement and provide smoother shifting on the 777F, the lockup clutch calibration process was modified. Additionally, the lockup clutch is no longer fully disengaged during up shifts and downshifts.
To reduce the number of occurrences of event E521 Auto Lube Pressure Not Decreasing After Cycle, the pump cycle (ON/OFF) based on lube pressure during the manual lube cycle was added.
To reduce the number of occurrences of diagnostic 379-3 Machine Auto Lube Pressure Sensor: Voltage Above Normal logging during start-up, one second start-up delay was added to the sensor diagnostic logic.
To reduce the number of nuisance Engine Overspeed fault codes, the Engine Overspeed Event logic was improved. For Chassis ECM generated EID 362 event was modified:
Added a level 1 warning. This warning becomes active and logged after engine speed goes above the threshold point for 5 seconds.
Modified the level 2 warning. This warning becomes active (but will not be logged) after engine speed goes above the threshold point for 0.5 seconds.
The support for Rear Axle Filtration feature (777F only) was added.Note: This feature requires a retrofit kit part (394-8453 Rear Axle Lubrication Kit ).
This feature is an attachment that continuously filters the rear axle oil by circulating through a filter and returning directly to the sump using a hydraulically driven pump.
The feature is disabled by default in the software.
Additional support for the Event Chronological List of Object Detection System events/diagnostics was added to no longer show "Unknown" in the Advisor/Messenger.
Support for EID 90 High Differential (axle) Oil Temperature (777F only) was added for displaying in the Advisor/Messenger.
With the new Low System Voltage Event strategy, the alternator R-Term will no longer be used to trigger the Low System Voltage Event. Also, the Advisor/Messenger will no longer display Alternator R-Term parameters.
The Brake Accumulator Pressure Level 2S Warning is now snoozeable.
When towing the truck with a dead engine, a level 2S Brake Accumulator Pressure Low warning is active with the shift lever out of park. This enables the alarm during the entire towing operation, which can be both annoying and distracting. To alleviate this event, the software will provide a snooze mode.The new software package is adaptable to and effective with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 2.
