Remove the oil coolers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Coolers - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
This procedure is for a left hand serviced oil filter housing.Note: Tooling (B) provides a means for draining the oil from the oil filter housing.
Drain the oil from the oil filter housings by opening the drain valves.

Install Tooling (A). Use a suitable lifting device to remove the oil filter housing. The oil filter housing weighs approximately 225 kg (496 lb).

Disconnect tube (2) and tube (3) at the fittings on the front housing.
Ensure that all tubes and hose assemblies have been disconnected from the oil filter housings.
Remove seven bolts (1). Remove the oil filter housings from the engine. Removal Procedure 2
