Brake Pedal
Pedal Operated Machines Brake Pedal Applied - Push both brake pedals down simultaneously to apply the brakes, and slow or stop the machine. Use the brakes on a downgrade to keep the engine from overspeeding. Brake Pedal Released - Release the brake pedals to allow the machine to move, or increase ground speed.
Hand Control Operated Machines Brake Pedal Applied - Push the brake pedal down to apply the brakes, and slow or stop the machine. Use the brakes on a downgrade to keep the engine from overspeeding. Parking Brake - The parking brake is activated by moving the lever (1) and pushing down the brake pedal(s) (2). Brake ON - Push the lever down and push the brake pedal(s) down to engage the parking brake. The brake pedal(s) will remain in the depressed position. The machine should not move when the parking brake is engaged. Do not use the parking brake for stopping the machine. Brake OFF - Pull the lever up and push the brake pedal(s) down to release the parking brake. The brake pedal(s) will move up from the depressed position.Governor and Decelerator
Governor Lever - The governor lever controls the engine speed. HI rpm - Pull the governor lever back to increase the engine speed. LOW rpm - Push the lever forward to reduce the engine speed. Push the lever forward to the detent position for low idle. Push the lever all the way forward through the detent to stop the engine. Decelerator Pedal (If Equipped) - Push down on the pedal to override the governor control and reduce the engine speed. Use the pedal to reduce engine rpm when making directional shifts.Steering Clutch/Brake Control
Pedal Steer Machine
This machine has two steering clutch/brake control pedals. The left pedal controls the left steering clutch and brake. The right pedal controls the right steering clutch and brake. Left Steering Clutch/Brake - Push the left pedal down to steer the machine to the left. The rate of steering is controlled by how far the pedal is pushed down.
