The 7N4160 Heat Start Switch can be used as a direct replacement. The 7N4160 Heat Start Switch provides better sealing against contaminants. The 7N4160 Heat Start Switch also has a contact action better suited for cranking applications where the starter solenoid is activated directly from the start switch. Such applications do not use a start relay.
