Install O-ring seal (17) onto fitting (18) .
Install valve assembly (16) into primary fuel filter base (8) .
Install fitting (18) into primary fuel filter base (8) .

Install gasket (14) and fuel priming pump (15) onto primary fuel filter base (8) .

Install O-ring seal (13) into the top of primary fuel filter base (8) .
Install hard washer (10) and nut (9) into the top of primary fuel filter base (8) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (11) that holds nut (9) and hard washer (10) to primary fuel filter base (8) .
Install gasket (12) into primary fuel filter base (8) .

Position primary fuel filter base (8) to the fuel tank.
Install two bolts (7) and the washers that hold primary fuel filter base (8) to the side of the fuel tank.

Install hose assemblies (3) and (4) to the original locations.
Install a new filter element (6) into case assembly (5) .
Install case assembly (5) and filter element (6) to primary fuel filter base (8) .
Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 24 4 N m (18 3 lb ft).

Open shutoff valve (1) that is located below the primary fuel filter.
