There have been complaints of performance issues with multi-operation, in particular while doing multiple implement operations with swing operation, on certain machines listed above. These complaints may continue or reoccur after installing the improved Machine ECM software files listed in Service Magazine, SEPD2032, "New Software for Machine Electronic Control Module and Monitor is Now Used for Certain 374F and 390F Hydraulic Excavators". The improved Machine ECM software files were intended, along with the latest Monitor software file also listed in Service Magazine, SEPD2032, to be the Permanent Corrective Action (PCA).Some of the root causes for the performance issues are as follows:
The Adaptive Control System (ACS) Valve Boom Independent Metering Valve (IMV) Calibrations may sometimes fail
Selected Swing or Boom priority parameter settings are lost at key OFF operationSolution
If you have installed the Machine ECM software files listed in Service Magazine, SEPD2032, replace the current Machine ECM software files with the new Machine ECM software files listed in Table 1, and available in SIS Web if you are searching by the Flash File part number. The Monitor software, that provides access to the operator priority settings, is unaffected, and remains the same Flash File part number listed in Service Magazine, SEPD2032.
