Installation Procedure
Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.

Note: Make sure that the ports of the valve are in the correct position.
Position pilot valve (18) and install bolts (17) .

Install bellows (16) on the pilot valve.

Position travel pedals (13) and (14) on the pilot valve. Install bolts (15). Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 33 3 N m (25 3 lb ft).

Install rubber pedal (12) and (11) onto the travel pedals.

Install rubber floormat (10) around the travel pedals.

Note: Hydraulic fitting (9) is the hydraulic fitting with the filter.
Install hydraulic fitting (9) and (8) in the pilot valve.

Connect hose assemblies (3), (4), (5), (7), and (6). Tighten all hose assemblies to a torque of 37 4 N m (27 3 lb ft).
Install high efficiency filters in place of the pilot filter, the filter for the case drain, and the return filter.Note: High efficiency filters should not be run for more than 250 hours before you change back to the standard filters.
Check the hydraulic system oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" and Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
Start the engine, and check the operation of the pilot valve. Also, check for leaks. Stop the engine.
Obtain a hydraulic oil sample from the main S O S port. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Sampling Interval and Location of Sampling Valve" for the correct location.
If the S O S sample exceeds ISO 18/15, flush the hydraulic system. Refer to Contamination Control Guidelines, SEBF8447.

Install cover (1) with bolts (2) .
