VIMS Calibrate Payload
The Calibrate Truck Payload dialog allows you to send a calibration command to the on-board system. The Truck Payload actual calibration is performed by the on-board system. See the appropriate truck operation and maintenance manual for calibration procedure.
VIMS Upload Configuration
The Upload Machine Configuration dialog box allows you to send (flash) a configuration file from the Service Tool to an on-board system. The configuration files allow the on-board system to identify sensors and switches unique to the specific machine. A configuration upload causes all on-board stored data to reset. This reset destroys all data and configuration files stored on the machine. Only files which are compatible with the current machine should be uploaded. If you are not sure about compatibility, check with factory product support or engineering support before uploading a configuration.
VIMS Component Change
The Component Change feature tracks changes to machine components. Selecting the component change dialog box downloads all VIMS information from the on-board system of the connected machine. You can change the serial number of a component and enter a component description. All component changes are logged in the Audit Trail file.
VIMS Upload Source
The VIMS Upload Source option allows a user to load (flash) the hardware operating system into the on-board modules. The hardware operating system allows the on-board main module to use the configuration program to monitor machine parameters.
VIMS Upload Serial Number
The Assign Serial Number dialog box allows the user to change the serial number stored within the main module. The factory will install the serial number on a new machine.
VIMS Upload Equipment Number
The Assign Equipment Number dialog box allows the user to assign or change the equipment number on the machine. The Equipment Number is a unique identifier assigned by the customer.
The system administrator can assign separate security rights for uploading serial numbers and equipment numbers.
VIMS SMU Reset
The reset Time/Date/SMU dialog box allows the user to reset or change the SMU (actually SMH) parameter within the main module. This parameter is the total machine/engine operating hours.
VIMS Upload Time
The reset Time/Date/SMU dialog box allows the user to change the date and time parameters stored in the main module.
The VIMS-PC Analysis Program Menu shows the menu items associated with the VIMS Analysis program.

VIMS Save Group
The Group Open dialog box allows you to select a previously saved group of switches or sensors to display in the View Real Time Data dialog box. A group also allows quick viewing of data logger or event recorder files.
VIMS Save Group As
The Group Save As dialog box allows you to save the current group of switches or sensors under a new name. If you have made changes to the selected group, the changes will show up in the newly named group. The original group remains unchanged. This feature allows you to use the existing group as the basis for creating new groups with different characteristics.
