When reporting the repair, use "PI30216" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI30216" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code. The information supplied in this serviceletter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. The bolts on the front and rear axles need tobe tightened on certain 988G Wheel Loaders, 834G Wheel Tractors and 836GLandfill Compactors. The front and rear axle arrangement to frame boltswere not properly tightened during assembly.AFFECTED PRODUCT

This rework procedure may require twoservice technicians depending on the tooling available to the dealer. Thisprogram will pay for travel time and mileage for both technicians.
Tighten the (12) 1395943 Bolts holding front axlearrangement to frame to 1800 +/- 200 N.m (1330 +/- 150 lb ft).
The 8T1583 nut will have to be held.
Tighten the (4) 1782992 Bolts holding the rearaxle arrangement front trunnion support to the frame to 1800 +/- 200 N.m(1330 +/- 150 lb ft).
Tighten the (8) 9X6151 bolts holding the rearaxle arrangement rear trunnion support to the frame to 1800 +/- 200 N.m(1330 +/- 150 lb ft).
