Information:

PROBLEM
The existing VIN decal needs to be replaced on certain CUV82 and CUV102D Utility Vehicles. The existing VIN decal contains the incorrect Caterpillar serial number. It is off by a unit of one.

PARTS NEEDED

ACTION REQUIRED
Note: Do NOT order the new VIN decals. The new VIN decals have already been shipped to the affected dealers.
Tools Required:
- Squeegee
- Heat Gun
- Alcohol
REMOVAL:
1. Tilt the cargo box up. Using a heat gun, lightly heat the existing VIN decal located on the left side of the frame. Refer to Image1.
2. Carefully peel the existing VIN decal off of the frame and adhere it to a dark piece of paper. Refer to Image2.
INSTALLATION:
1. Clean the surface area of oil, debris, dirt, or other contaminants using alcohol and a clean rag.
2. Remove the backing from the new VIN decal. Adhere the new VIN decal to the frame using a squeegee. Refer to Image3.
3. The existing VIN decal must be returned to Textron Off-Road for verification that the VIN decal has been replaced.
