Open the access cover on the right side of the machine.
Illustration 2 g00038543
Loosen two hose clamps (1) and remove the hose from the breather.
Loosen clamp (2) on the bottom of the breather. Remove the breather.
Remove the cover from the breather.
Check the condition of the cover seal. If the used seal is damaged, replace the seal with a new seal.
Wash the breather element in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
To dry the breather element, shake the element or use air pressure.
Install the cover on the breather element.
Install the breather on the machine and tighten clamp (2) .
Inspect the hose for damage. If the hose is worn or damaged, replace the hose.
Install the hose on the breather. Tighten two clamps (1) .
Perform this procedure for the other breather.
Close the access cover.
