Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Old gaskets should always be replaced with new gaskets.Note: Do not tighten bolts or nuts until all tubes and all lines are installed.Note: If the turbocharger housings were separated from the turbocharger cartridge, place the components in the original position with the alignment marks.

Typical Example
Attach a suitable lifting device (11) to turbocharger (10) . Install a new gasket and position turbocharger (10) on the inlet manifold.
Apply Tooling (A) to the studs for the turbocharger.

Note: Discard the nuts after use. Use new nuts for installation.
Install nuts (9) .
Install air inlet tube (12) .

Install oil supply tube (6) with new gaskets and the two bolts on each end of the tube. Hold the oil supply tube in place with bolt (5) .
Install coolant hose (8) and tighten clamp (7) .

Connect coolant tube (4) to the turbocharger. Install bolts (2) .
Install the gasket and turbocharger drain line (3) . Tighten bolts (1) .
Tighten the four bolts that fasten the turbocharger to the inlet manifold to a torque of 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
