Poll Parameters for Machine Window
The Poll Parameters for Machine window is used for the following:
Poll as many as six parameters from a single machine.
Create a graph of the parameters that were selected.
Display a table that contains information about the parameters that were selected.
Retrieve the Service Meter Hours of the machine that is selected.Note: The machine must have established communications with the radio before any values will appear.

(1) Waveform Chart (2) Parameter Value table (3) Legend (4) SMH field (5) Get SMH button (6) Select Parameters button (7) Polling button (8) Exit button (9) Plot Method (10) Last Updated fieldThe Poll Parameters for Machine window that is shown in Illustration 1 contains the following:Waveform Chart - Each parameter value on the Waveform Chart (1) is plotted on the graph when the value is returned. The graph has a shared y-axis for the parameter value. The x-axis on the graph represents the time in seconds. Parameter Value table - The Parameter Value table (2) indicates the name of each selected parameter, the value of the parameter, and the units of each parameter that was polled. Legend - The Legend (3) displays the color of the lines that will be shown on the graph. Each color represents a different parameter. The parameter name and the units are repeated. The values are rounded to two decimal places.Note: The Legend will display parameters that have an FMI code, but these values will not appear on the graph. SMH field - The SMH field (4) is used to list the Service Meter Hours of the machine. Get SMH button - The Get SMH button (5) is used to send the Service Meter Hours of the machine to the "SMH" field. Select Parameters button - The Select Parameters button (6) is used to open the Select Parameters window. Polling button - The Polling button (7) is used in order to start polling a machine. This button is also used to stop polling a machine. The text on this button will toggle for each state. For example, if you are polling a machine, the text will read "Stop Polling". When you are no longer polling the machine, the text will read "Start Polling". Exit Button - The Exit button (8) is used to close the Poll Parameters for Machine window.Plot Method - Select the "Graph and Table" box in the Plot Method section (9) in order to add the value of the data below each point on the graph. Last Updated Field - The Last Updated field (10) indicates the time of the last update. Select Parameters Window
The Select Parameters window is used to choose up to six parameters for viewing from a list of parameters that are available for the selected machine. A VIMS PC Database must be selected in the Setup section of the Toolkit. The database must contain data from a data logger or an event recorder.
