Use a suitable lifting device in order to position body and canopy (1) onto the frame. The weight of body and canopy (1) is approximately 25082 kg (55296 lb).
Apply Tooling (C) onto pin assemblies (15) . Use two people in order to install pin assemblies (15) partially into body and canopy (1) . The weight of pin assembly (15) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb).
Position suitable blocking between body and canopy (1) and the frame. Install body and canopy (1) .

Position washer (16) and install pin assembly (15) .Note: There are two thicknesses of spacer (16) . The two thicknesses of spacer (16) are 10 mm (0.39 inch) and 6 mm (0.24 inch). Use two 6 mm (0.24 inch) thick washers if a 10 mm (0.39 inch) thick washer cannot be assembled in two places.
Install plate (14) . Install bolts (13) .
Repeat Step 4 through Step 5 for the remaining hinge pin.

Connect position sensor (12) .

Extend hoist cylinder (6) and use a suitable lifting device in order to align the bore that is in the head end of hoist cylinder (6) and the bore that is in the truck body. Remove Tooling (B) .

Apply Tooling (D) onto pin assembly (9) . Install spacers (11) , spacers (10) , and pin assembly (9) .

Connect grease hose assembly (5) and install the connecting hardware. Repeat this step for the remaining hoist cylinder.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position rock ejector (2) . The weight of rock ejector (2) is approximately 115 kg (254 lb).
Install pin (4) and cotter (3) .

Raise the truck bed in order to remove suitable blocking from the frame and the truck body. Repeat this step for the opposite side of the truck body.
Lower the truck bed.
Align the truck body with the frame assembly. Refer to Specifications, "Body Mounting".

Adjust the length of rod on position sensor (12) . Refer to Power Train Electronic Control System, Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Body Position Sensor Calibration".End By: Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
