Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install oil screen housing (16) and bolts (17).
Lightly lubricate the bores of tube assembly (18) and oil screen handle (15) with the fluid that is being sealed. Install tube assembly (18) and oil screen handle (15).

Install plug (14) and plugs (13).
Install cover (12) and bolts (11).

Install pipe plug (6), cover (10), cover (7), bolts (9), and bolts (8).

Install plate (5) and bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) marked (X) first, then tighten bolts (4) in the sequence shown in illustration 4.
Apply Tooling (A) to the gasket. Install the gasket, oil pan (2), and bolts (3).
Install drain plug (1). Tighten drain plug (1) to a torque of 145 15 N m (107 11 lb ft).End By:
