- - - Before installation of the flywheel housing, inspect the front face of the flywheel housing and the rear face of the cylinder block. The components must be free of oil, fuel, water, gasket adhesive, assembly compounds, and any other foreign material.
1 2 7S-4326 Dowel Protrusion of the new dowel (A) is 5.0 0.5 mm (0.20 0.02 inch).
2 1 363-7294 Face Seal The seal is approximately 135 mm (5.3 inch) longer than the groove. Press the seal into the groove. Do not stretch the seal. Trim the protruding ends of the seal prior to installation of the oil pan.
3 - - Apply a bead of the Loctite® Gasket Sealant around the two pairs of holes and bridge each pair of holes with the bead as shown in Illustration 1.
