Use Tooling (B), Tooling (C), and Tooling (D) to remove rear axle housing (45) and transmission (46).Installation Procedure
Install rear axle housing (45) and transmission (46) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (48) and (49) in a cross pattern to a torque of 700 90 N m (516 66 lb ft). Repeat this to ensure that all bolts are properly seated. When bolts (48) and (49) are seated torque bolts to a final torque of 2300 300 N m (1696 221 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 550 20 N m (406 15 lb ft).
