Problem
The track idler shaft on certain D5H TSK Track Skidders may fail when used in severe or heavy load applications.

Action Required
Follow the procedures in the service manual. Remove the existing track idler group and install the new parts. Tighten the idler bearing cap bolts to a torque of 470 + or - 60 N.m (350 + or - 45 lb ft). Cut out the inside flange of the front 8Y1191 and 8Y1196 Guard Assemblies to provide clearance for the new idler retainer.
