Disconnect hose assemblies (4) from left-hand boom cylinder (7) and the right-hand boom cylinder.
Attach a suitable lifting device to left-hand boom cylinder (7). The weight of left-hand boom cylinder (7) is approximately 125 kg (275 lb). Remove bolts (5) and retainer plate (6) from the end of the mounting pin. Drive the mounting pin out of the rod end of left-hand boom cylinder (7) and into the boom. Do not remove the mounting pin from the boom. Remove the shims. Lower the left-hand boom cylinder onto Tooling (A).
Attach a suitable lifting device to the right-hand boom cylinder. The weight of the right-hand boom cylinder is approximately 125 kg (275 lb). Remove bolts (5) and retainer plate (6) from the end of the mounting pin. Drive the mounting pin out of the rod end of the right-hand boom cylinder and into the boom. Do not remove the mounting pin from the boom. Remove the shims. Lower the right-hand boom cylinder onto Tooling (A).
Reinstall retainer plates (6) and bolts (5).

Disconnect harness assemblies (11) and cut cable straps (12). Reposition harness assemblies (11) through storage box (10).

Use two people in order to remove storage box (10). The weight of storage box (10) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Remove bolts (13) and storage box (10).

Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank. Install Tooling (B) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose to Tooling (B). Apply 276 to 414 kPa (40 to 60 psi) of air. This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Disconnect harness assembly (14). Disconnect clip (15) and reposition harness assembly (14). Disconnect all hose assemblies (16) from boom assembly (1).

Remove bolt (18) and the washer from pin assembly (17).

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to boom assembly (1). The weight of boom assembly (1) is approximately 1065 kg (2350 lb). Use Tooling (D) in order to remove pin assembly (17). Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (D). The weight of Tooling (D) and pin assembly (17) is approximately 61 kg (135 lb). Remove pin assembly (17), the shims, and boom assembly (1) from the upper structure.

Use Tooling (E) in order to remove sleeve bearings (19).
