Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the transmission oil filter and base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Filter and Base (Transmission Charging) - Remove".

Remove dust cap (8) from fluid sampling valve (2).
Remove fluid sampling valve (2), adapter (3), O-ring (4), and three seals (5).
Remove plug (6) and O-ring seal (7).
Remove bypass switch (1) of the transmission charging hydraulic filter.

Remove O-ring (11).
Remove spring (9).
Remove spool (10).

If necessary, remove screw (14) and plate (15).
If necessary, remove plug (16) and O-ring seal (17).
Remove five bolts (12).
Remove cover assembly (13).

Remove nut (22).
Remove retainer (21).
Remove element assembly (20).
Remove retainer (19).
Remove element assembly (18).
Remove retainer (23).

Remove O-ring seal (25) and O-ring seal (26) from cover assembly (13).
If necessary, remove stud (24).

Remove plug (27).
Remove seal (28).
