KIT-DT GASKET 2591034 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the cotter pins and pins to disconnect brake linkages (1) and (3), steering clutch linkages (4) and (5) and parking brake ratchet (2) from the dash bellcrank levers. Disconnect the spring for ratchet (2) from the dash bellcrank lever. 2. Remove shroud assembly (6) from the machine. 3. Disconnect the air filter indicator tube (7) from the air cleaner pipe assembly. 4. Disconnect the two connectors under the instrument panel from wiring harness (10).5. Disconnect fuel pressure line (8) and oil pressure line (9). 6. Remove the sheet assembly from over the left side of the engine. Remove water temperature sending unit (11) from the cylinder head and disconnect the two clips that hold the wire to the cylinder head. 7. Remove the torque converter oil temperature sending unit (12) from the lower left side of the torque converter. 8. Disconnect ground wire (13) from the loader frame. 9. Fasten a hoist to the top of dash (14) with two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts. Make sure all of the clips and straps are disconnected for the gauge lines. 10. Remove the two bolts (15) that hold the dash brackets to the loader frame from each side of the machine.11. Remove the dash from the machine slowly and pull the water temperature, torque converter oil temperature and air indicator lines through the grommet in the loader frame. The weight of the dash is 275 lb. (124 kg).Install Dash (955L)
1. Fasten a hoist to the top of dash (1) with two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts and put the dash in position on the machine.2. Push the lines for the water temperature, air indicator and torque converter oil temperature gauges through the grommet in the loader frame before the dash is completely installed. 3. Install bolts (2) to hold the dash brackets to the loader frame. 4. Connect ground cable (3) to the loader frame. 5. Install the torque converter oil temperature sending unit (4) in the torque converter. 6. Install water temperature sending unit (5) in the cylinder head. Connect clips (6) to the cylinder head.7. Install the sheet assembly over the left side of the engine.8. Connect the instrument panel wiring harnesses to wiring harness (9). 9. Connect oil pressure line (8) and fuel pressure line (7). 10. Connect air filter indicator line (10) to the top of the air pipe assembly.11. Make sure all of the clips and straps that hold the gauge lines in position are installed. 12. Install shroud assembly (11) on the machine. 13. Connect brake linkages (15) and (16), parking brake spring and ratchet (12) and steering clutch linkages (13) and (14) to the dash bellcrank levers.
