The 217-0114 Adapter Cable As must be used with the 217-0113 Wiring Harness to flash software or to troubleshoot problems on Caterpillar engine Electronic Control Modules (ECMs).

(3) 217-0113 Wiring Harness The 217-0114 Adapter Cable As has been replaced by the 328-2292 Harness . Note: The 328-2292 Harness has additional protections to eliminate the risk of damaging non-engine ECMs. This protection only prevents damage to CAT non-engine ECMs and will not allow 328-2292 to work on these ECMs. Refer to Table 1.
