Rework procedure
Disassemble the harness from the right-hand side console joystick.
Reassemble a new 297-9525 Sensor Harness As as described in Illustration 1.
Make sure that the harness is correctly routed and correctly strapped as recommended.Recommendations for strapping the harness.On the front part of the joystick console:

Attach the 297-9525 Sensor Harness As (1) behind the link (in between the joystick base and the link).
Make sure that the strap is correctly cut. Extremity of the strap must be free of any sharp edge.
Before reinstalling the 280-9897 Cover, make sure that the harness loop moves as expected when adjusting the position of the joystick console. With the joystick console fully retracted, the harness must do a loop just below the joystick base as shown in Illustration 3 and Illustration 4.
Check also if the harness is correctly strapped. Make sure that the 7K-1181 Cable Strap (2) is not loose when adjusting the console.
