Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch to the ON position.
At the J1 harness connector for the auxiliary control pod, insert 7X-1710 Multimeter Probes along the power supply 1 (wire N952-BU) and along ground contact 3 (wire A296-BK). Do not disconnect the machine harness from the J1 connector.
Measure the DC voltage of the power supply for the sensor.Expected Result:The voltage measurement is approximately 10.0 0.4 DCV.Results:
OK - The voltage measurement is approximately 10.0 0.4 DCV. The power supply for the sensor is correct. Proceed to Test Step 2.
NOT OK - The voltage measurement is less than 10.0 0.4 DCV. The power supply for the sensor is not correct. Repair: Either the sensor ground wire A296-BK or the supply wire N952-BU has a bad connection or an open in the machine harness. Examine all of the
