PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR FINAL DRIVE BEARING FAILURES IN 518 SKIDDERS, 4051, 4055, PS0281 U-62 C-61 This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0281" as Part Number and "7755" as Group Number. Termination Date

Problem
The roller bearings used in the planet gears in the final drives on some 518 Skidders have not provided the desired service life. Floating bronze bearings can be installed to improve the service life of the final drive.

12 - 9V9007 Bearing
Action Required
If a failure of a roller bearing in any one of the final drives occurs, remove the existing roller bearings from all four final drives and replace them with new floating bronze bearings. (SEE ILLUSTRATION) WARRANTY ALLOWANCES (SEE ILLUSTRATION)
