Attach a suitable lifting device to boom cylinder (9), as shown. The weight of boom cylinder (9) is approximately 380 kg (838 lb). Position boom cylinder (9) onto the machine.

Use Tooling (A) to install pin assembly (17).
Install bolt (16) and the spacer.
Connect hose assemblies (15).

Use the suitable lifting device to position boom cylinder (9) onto suitable cribbing. Reposition the suitable lifting device near the rod end of boom cylinder (9). The weight of boom cylinder (9) is approximately 380 kg (838 lb). Use the suitable lifting device to raise the rod end of boom cylinder (9) into position.

Typical Example
Install the correct number of shims and use Tooling (A) and a suitable hammer to install pin (14) through the rod eye of the boom cylinder.
