Follow the recommended procedure for removal and installation of tires and or wheel assemblies.Ensure that the machine and tire and or wheel assembly are properly supported at all times.Improper procedures that are used to remove and install tires and or wheel assemblies can result in personal injury or death.
Note: Tires must be inflated inside a protective cage prior to mounting on the machine.
Make sure that the tires, the wheel hub, the rim, the lug nuts, and the washers are thoroughly clean prior to installation.

Check the condition of lug bolts (7). Check the condition of spacer rings (6). If any of the parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Install a spacer ring (6) on each lug bolt (7), as shown.
Install Tooling (B) on two of the lug bolts in the positions that are shown.

Fasten a lifting strap to inner tire and rim (5), as shown. Fasten an appropriate lifting device to the lifting strap. Install the inner tire and rim on the front axle, as shown. The weight of the inner tire and rim is approximately 93 kg (205 lb).
Make sure that inner tire and rim (5) is against the hub of the axle. Remove the lifting strap.

Fasten a lifting strap to tire ring (3). Fasten an appropriate lifting device to the lifting strap. Position the tire ring against the inner tire and rim. The weight of the tire ring is approximately 32 kg (70 lb).
Make sure that the tire ring is centered on the tire.Note: Align the bolt holes for two screws (2) on the outer tire and rim with the bolt holes for two screws (2) on the inner tire and rim.

Position the forks of a lift truck beneath outer tire and rim (4). Use Tooling (C) to secure the outer tire and rim to the lift truck. The weight of the outer tire and rim is approximately 93 kg (205 lb).
Install outer tire and rim (4) on the front axle.
Make sure that tire ring (3) is centered. Make sure that the tire ring is against the inner tire and rim. Make sure that the outer tire and rim is against the tire ring.

Install Tooling (D), as shown. Remove Tooling (B) .

Install two screws (2).
Install eight lug nuts (1). Remove Tooling (D). Install remaining two lug nuts (1). Tighten the lug nuts to a torque of 450 + 0 - 50 N m (331.9020 + 0 - 37 lb ft).
Remove the lifting strap from tire ring (3) .
