Removal Procedure

The fuel manifold is located on the Clean Emissions Module.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This action will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Remove nut (6) , washer (5) , and solenoid (4) from valve assembly (1) .
Remove cartridge assembly (3) and remove O-ring seals (2) .Installation Procedure
Install the solenoid valve (1) in the reverse order.
Tighten cartridge assembly (3) to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Tighten the nut (6) to a torque of 20 2.5 N m (177 22 lb in).
