Improvements of VIMSpc Version 2015A
The improvements of VIMSpc version 2015A are listed below:
Added loader productivity support for Cat® Product Link Elite machines.
Enhanced ability to view manufacturer-specific Suspect Parameter Number (SPN) in event reports.
Added ability to create or reset command for productivity files.
Added ability to differentiate multiple data logger files with same trigger timestamp and number of records.
Added ability of downloading ABL files from Product Link (PL) Elite devices.
Added ability to activate or deactivate data logger for ABL-PL Elite devices.
Added ability to display file types dynamically in "Download" screen for PL Elite devices.
Enhanced Auto Merge Option for productivity files.
Enhanced event report processing with high TKPH values.
Improved Module Identifier (MID) description text in histogram reports.
Enhanced report filter criteria based on defined shifts.
Improved downloading process to handle huge number of loader productivity files.
Updated to prevent the incorrect engine oil pressure being reported due to misinterpreting the data from the file. This improvement will help in correctly parsing the J1939 parameters.
Updated to prevent transmission gear graph scaling incorrectly in datalogger graph due to plotting the raw value instead of using pseudo numbers assigned to gear values. This improvement will ensure that all state parameters are shown with their description without the need of rescaling.
Updated to correctly display parking brake snapshot channel value instead of a blank value.
Updated desired gear and requested gear command to show the gear name instead of gear numbers displayed in Hex valuesThe new part numbers are listed in the Table below.

The following computer hardware, communication hardware, cables, and software are needed to run VIMSpc successfully:

2 GB RAM and 500 MB of available hard drive space

RS232 port with 16550AF UART (or compatible) OR USB 1.1 or 2.0 port with a USB to Serial Port adapter ( 370-8059 Adapter Kit) for use with VIMS download cable ( 127-9797 Cable As) for VIMS ABL and 68K hardware
