Installation Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Mount the bogie control valve with four bolts and the washers to the bracket.

Connect hydraulic line (4) to the bogie control valve.
Connect six hydraulic lines (2) to the bogie control valve.
Plug four electrical connectors (3) onto the two actuators.

Turn secondary disconnect switch (1) to the ON position.
Tilt the cab downward. Reference: Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7197, "554 Forwarder and 574 Forwarder", "Cab Tilting"
Close the engine hood. End By:
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
