AllThis discusses the design improvements and availability for the XT-6 ES reusable couplings for -12 (0.75 inch ID) and -16 (1.00 inch ID) hoses. The couplings have gone from an integral hex design, which is not reusable to a non-integral hex design that now allows the couplings to be reusable. The integral hex design should NOT be reused. Only the new non-integral hex design should be reused.Along with the new design there are new sleeve part numbers, 230-9992 Sleeve and 230-9999 Sleeve, which replaces the 153-0893 Sleeve and the 153-0894 Sleeve. The 153-0893 Sleeve and the 153-0894 Sleeve should not be reused. For complete information on identifying the different design styles and a listing of the XT-6 ES reusable coupling line, please refer to HOS04-01, PELJ0340 .Note: The design change complements the XT-6 ES reusable couplings that are already available in -20 (1.25 inch ID) sized hoses and -24 (1.50 inch ID) sized hoses.
