Introduction
This procedure shows the proper method to replace the Electronic Control Module (ECM). Replacement of the ECM will update the machine software which will disengage the propel when the machine is backing up.Procedure to Replace the Integrated Circuit

Open the doors on the console. The doors for the console are located below the dashboard.

Locate ECM (1). ECM (1) is mounted on the back of the console.

Remove bolts (2) .
Remove ECM (1) .

Remove bolts (4) and connector (3) .

Install connector (3) and bolts (4) to the new ECM.

Install ECM (1) and bolts (2) .
Recalibrate the ECM. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, KENR2524, "Systems Calibrations".
