Crushing Hazard. Connect the steering frame lock between front and rear frames before servicing the machine in the articulation area. Disconnect the steering frame lock and secure it in the stored position before resuming operation. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Frame Lock" before entering the articulation joint.Wipe off the fittings before any lubricant is applied.There is a total of four fittings.

Lubricant fitting at rod end of right-hand steering cylinder
Apply lubricant directly through the fitting on the rod end of each steering cylinder. Access these fittings from each side of the machine.

(1) Lubrication fitting for head end of right-hand steering cylinder
(2) Lubrication fitting for head end of left-hand steering cylinder The bearing on the head end of each steering cylinder is lubricated through remote fittings. These fittings are located on the rear frame of the machine in the articulation joint. Access these fittings from the left-hand side of the machine.Apply lubricant through fitting (1) for the head end of the right-hand steering cylinder. Apply lubricant through fitting (2) for the head end of the left-hand steering cylinder.
