Level the machine prior to checking fluid levels in order to ensure that the correct fluid levels are obtained.
Remove the filler plug (1).
Remove the drain plug (2) and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container. The capacity of rotor bearing housing is 0.8 L (0.21 US gal).
Clean the drain plug (2) and install the drain plug (2).
Add oil through the opening for filler plug (1) until the level is at the halfway mark on the optical level indicator (3).
