Install bolts (5) in the holes of the lower housing (B) through the inner pattern of holes in the mounting ring. Tighten in a star pattern crosswise to a torque of 270 40 N m (199 30 lb ft).Finish Conversion

Install the hydraulic cylinder (D) in the lower housing (B). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Section, RENR4482, "Hydraulic Cylinder - Remove and Install".Note: New couplings and hoses that are supplied with 272-2204 Hydraulic Rotator Gp must be used.

(C) Holes for caps
Remove the caps from the underside of the swivel hydraulic blocks.

Install adapters (6) and elbow couplings (7) on the bottom side of the swivel hydraulic blocks.

Install adapters (6) and elbow couplings (7) on both ports of the hydraulic cylinder (D) .

(8) 272-3109 Hose As
Install hoses (8) between the swivel and hydraulic cylinder (D). Make sure that the hoses do not touch any moving parts. Fully tighten adapters (6) and elbow couplings (7) .

(S) Short hydraulic block (L) Long hydraulic blockNote: The hose from the "short" hydraulic block (S) connects to the cylinder's rod end. The hose from the "long" hydraulic block (L) connects to the cylinder's head end.
Install the mounting bracket on the upper housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Section, RENR4482, "Mounting Bracket - Remove and Install".

(S) Set screw (N) Serial number plate
Install serial number plate (N) into the holder. Install set screws (S) .
Install the work tool on the machine. Refer to Operation Section, SEBU7660, "Work Tool Installation and Removal".

(L) Lock pin (P) Pin
Remove lock pin (L). Remove pin (P) .

(G) Lubrication fitting
Lubricate the rotator. Rotate the work tool by 90 degrees. Lubricate the rotator again.Note: The new upper housing has two fittings (G). Both fittings must be lubricated.
Lubricate the bearings of the hydraulic cylinder (D) . Refer to Maintenance Section, SEBU7660, "Bearings (Cylinder Ends) - Lubricate".
Perform functional tests and check for leaks. Refer to Testing and Adjusting Section, RENR4482, "Testing and Adjusting".
