Remove the (piston) motor (1) from the (blower) fan (2) for the cooling duct. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, KENR8727, "Piston Motor (Blower Fan) - Remove" Inspect
Inspect internal splines (3) on the fan for wear. If excessive wear is found, replace the bearing/load adapter for the fan.
Inspect external splines (4) on the motor shaft for wear. If excessive wear is found, replace the motor for the fan. Lubricate
Apply Cat Ultra 5Moly Grease to the internal splines of the fan and the external splines of the motor.
Install the (piston) motor for the (blower) fan for the cooling duct. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Blower Fan) - Install"
